Drag and Drop Red Line

Hi,

I have a grid in my application which has the drag and drop enabled. I also have several other windows in my application with drag/drop enabled. I notice that when I have a window over my grid and I drag something over it, a red line appears. I understand that the red line shows where the item will be dropped. But if I drop the item onto another window  rather than the grid, the red line remains. The red line then stays on the screen until I close the application. Is there a way to get rid of it after I have dropped into another window? I have attached a screenshot to show you the problem. Notice I have a window "GEM5" into which I drop the object ,but it is over a grid and a red line appears when I drag the item past it.
